Why travel with us

A local team that takes care of everything

We are a licensed inbound tour operator based in China, designing private journeys for travelers who would rather go deep than go fast. One team handles your route, your guides, your hotels and your transfers.

Licensed & accountable

A travel agency licensed by the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau for inbound and domestic tourism. Your booking sits with a real, verifiable legal entity.

Tailor-made, at your pace

Every journey is built around your interests, dates and budget — private departures from two travelers, not fixed bus groups on a clock.

One team, door to door

Visa guidance, airport meet & transfer, hotels, private coach, local guides and daily support — arranged by the same team you talk to before you book.

Real culture, hands-on

Fold twenty-seven layers of pastry by hand, whisk tea the Song-dynasty way, turn soy-sauce jars in a century-old yard — experiences you participate in, not watch.

Comfortable routing

Fewer hotel changes, sensible driving times and rest built in. Hot springs placed exactly where your legs need them, not as an afterthought.

Built for US travelers

Quotes in US dollars, WhatsApp and email support, English-language documents and no forced shopping stops — with a response inside 24 hours.

Questions travelers ask us

Do US citizens need a visa to visit China?

Yes — US passport holders need a visa for a tourism trip to China. China also offers visa-free transit in certain cases, and the rules change from time to time.

We prepare a document checklist for your application, provide the hotel confirmations and itinerary paperwork you will need, and confirm the current entry requirements with you before you book.

Can the itinerary be customized?

Yes. The 7-day Jiangnan journey is a starting point. We regularly adjust the number of days, add cities, swap hotels, slow down the pace or build something entirely new around your interests — food, photography, family learning, wellness or business.

How big are the groups?

Your departure is private. Groups start from two travelers and stay small, so you set the pace and the guide is working for you, not for a bus.

How does payment work?

You receive a written quote in US dollars with a clear inclusion and exclusion list. Payment is normally made by international bank transfer, and we can discuss card or other arrangements when preparing your quote.

Is tipping expected?

Tipping is not customary or mandatory in China. If you would like to thank your guide or driver for a job well done, it is welcome but always entirely optional.

Is travel insurance required?

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, trip interruption and cancellation. We can point you to the coverage points worth checking before you depart.

Will there be forced shopping stops?

No. We do not run forced shopping stops and there are no commission-driven detours on our itineraries. If you want to shop, we will happily point you to places worth your time.

Do I need to speak Chinese?

No. Your guide accompanies the guided portions of the journey and handles communication on the ground, so you can travel without any Chinese.
